IHFSEWE 2017 held in Chongqing

International High-end Forum on Structure Engineering and Wind Engineering, IHFSEWE 2017 is held in Chongqing from October 14 to 15, 2017.

To foster the building of colleges and universities in China into world-class universities, build a number of intelligence introduction based for disciplinary innovation with original innovation capacity, and improve the technological innovation capacity and comprehensive competitiveness of college and universities in an all-round way, the State Administration Of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education have launched the “111 Program”. IHFSEWE 2017, which is based on the annual academic exchange meeting of the intelligence introduction bases for wind resistance and disaster reduction of wind-sensitive infrastructures, invites experts at home and abroad to discuss the latest academic progress in the field. The themes of the Forum include extreme strong wind characteristics, bluff body aerodynamics, wind resistance of new energy structures such as wind power generation, CFD computational fluid dynamics simulation, large-span and high-rise building structural wind resistance, wind-sensitive structure status evaluation and health monitoring. The attendants of the Forum include experts and professors from the colleges, universities, scientific research institutes, and authority of civil engineering design, construction and management at home and abroad. Furthermore, the Forum is supported by the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Water Conservancy and Architectural Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the State Administration of Foreign Affairs.
