Cooperation and exchange project between National Natural Science Foundation and Royal Society of Edinburgh directed by young CQU teacher approved

Recently, the cooperation and exchange project between the National Natural Science Foundation and Royal Society of Edinburgh titled “innovative research of intelligent data acquisition and analyzing method based on bridge status evaluation (a case study of bridge intelligent detection robot)”, submitted by Professor Yang Yang from the School of Civil Engineering of Chongqing University, in collaboration with Dr. Thomas Reynolds from the University of Edinburgh, was approved to be established. The Project focuses on research of reliability evaluation of engineering infrastructure such as bridges under the machine mode learning using intelligent monitoring technology.

 

This is the first international cooperation project directed by a young teacher of the School of Civil Engineering, and it would help with promotion of international communication of the School, and strengthen academic exchange among teachers, in particular young teachers.
