CQU pockets 6 first prizes and other awards in the 16th iCAN Innovation Contest

From December 18 to 20, 2022, the 16th iCAN Innovation Contest sponsored by China Information Industry Association and initiated by Peking University was held online. Overcoming the impact of COVID-19 epidemic, CQU's recommended projects pocketed 6 first prizes (41 in all), 3 second prizes (81 in all) and 5 third prizes after fierce competition through "one-to-one" special counseling for nearly a month. The number of first prizes ranked first in the country, making the best achievement in history. In addition, 1 CQU's student was awarded the "iCAN Innovation Star" together with students from 10 universities such as Tsinghua University, and CQU won the Outstanding Organization Award.



In innovation track, Energy Supply by Xu Yunhao, et al., Generation by Zhang Penghao, et al., Ice-Breaking by Yang Guolin, et al., Electric Connection Technology by Zhang Bingfei, et al., and Eye of Nature by Xue Zixin et al. pocketed the first prizes (36 in all). In entrepreneurship track, Yi Mai Xiang Chuan by Xie Hanyu, et al. won the first prize (5 in all). iCloud Technology, Wei Zhen Tian and Differential Technology were awarded the second prizes and Xuan Hu Ji Shi, Yu Ni Tong Xing, Jin Xin Xiu Yun, Jue Shi Wu and Yi Zhi Du Xiu won the third prizes.



Chen Dan, the first prize winner of the 12th iCAN Innovation Contest, has always adhered to innovation and entrepreneurship, and won the 2022 iCAN Innovation Star (10 people in total).



As is known to all, iCAN Innovation Contest was initiated by Peking University in 2007, adhering to the spirit of "confidence, persistence and dream" and aiming at discovering and cultivating outstanding young talents with potential for innovation and entrepreneurship in universities. For the first time, this contest sets up innovation track and entrepreneurship track, including 19 sub-divisions and collecting 5,557 projects from 780 universities across the country.
