After the first recruitment fair of Chongqing University overseas was held in the USA in January 2018, Vice President Liu Hanlong of Chongqing University and Director Deng Shaojiang of the Office of Human Resources visited Singapore and held the Second Overseas Recruitment Fair of Chongqing University in 2018 at the beginning of a new semester.
On the morning and the afternoon of March 7, the delegation respectively held two sessions of recruitment fair at the University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University. More than 100 doctors, post doctors, professors and scholars from
Singapore
attended the recruitment fair.
Liu Hanlong extended sincere welcome to the attending representatives on behalf of Chongqing University, and introduced the audience to the overall condition and development history of Chongqing University. He expressed at the event the University’s urgent need of talents and encouraged the talents both at home and abroad to join Chongqing University.

Deng Shaojiang gave a detailed introduction to the location value and development prospect of Chongqing, as well as the disciplines, talent team and scientific research platforms of Chongqing University, with an emphasis laid on the talent introduction policy and appealing treatment offered by Chongqing University. Deng also encouraged the attendants to join Chongqing University.

After that, the delegation had in-depth discussion with the attending representatives with respect to the work and life in Chongqing University and future development of CQU. The representatives actively participated in the heated discussion and submitted their resumes after the discussion session. In particular, some students in the

who were unable to be present asked others to submit resume for them.

The overseas recruitment fair has drawn extensive attention of outstanding oversea talents and the expected goal has been achieved. Subsequently, the schools will be required to carry out comprehensive demonstration and expedite the talent introduction work of Chongqing University, so as to allow those outstanding talents to start to work for the University as soon as possible. The recruitment fair has been an effective one.
