Matthew Burney, the British education and culture minister in China, Chen Bing, director of Chongqing Office of British Council, Li Yongming, director of the Examination Department of the British Council for southwest China and their companions arrived at Chongqing University on the afternoon of April 16, 2021. President Zhang Zongyi of Chongqing University met with the delegation and the two sides exchanged ideas on cooperation in education and examination.

Huang He, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange of Chongqing University, Ou Ling, secretary of CPC Committee of the School of Foreign Languages and Cultures, Zhang Zhiqing, dean of the School of International Education, and Chen Yuan, head of the Department of Teaching Training and Consultation of the Development Center of Teachers and Teaching, were also present at the event.
