On January 9, 2018, the team led by Academician Wu Weiren, the chief engineer of lunar exploration program, carries out review of the CE-4 Mission Piggyback Test Project, the Biological Science Test Load Project (“Biological Science Load”), at Chongqing University. The detailed design of Biological Science Load is represented and reviewed in the morning; the independent evaluation work of the Biological Science Load is pre-reviewed in the afternoon.
A total of more than 40 persons, including Commander-in-Chief Qiu Jiawen of space science and deep space exploration of the China Academy of Space Technology and deputy director of Science and Technology Commission of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, and officials and experts of the Overall Department of China Academy of Space Technology, Overall Department of Moon and Deep Space Exploration of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Overall Department of Biological Science Load Project and related organizations, are present at the review meeting held in the morning.
Before the review meeting, Zhou Xun, secretary of CPC Chongqing University Committee, meets with the experts of the review penal and has a group photo with the review panel and experts from the research and manufacturing organizations.

At the review meeting, Vice President Liu Hanlong and Commander-in-Chief of the Biological Science Load Project respectively deliver a welcome speech. Xi Gengxin, deputy director of the Deep Space Exploration Joint Research Center under the Ministry of Education of Chongqing University, and chief designer of the Biological Science Load Project also attend the review meeting and deliver their representations. Vice President Liu Hanlong goes briefly over the development history and targets of the University and its close relation with the national defense and military industry in his speech, and extends sincere welcome to Academician Wu and his companions. In addition, Liu extends his sincere gratitude to the experts and organizations involved for their assistance and support given to the Biological Science Load Project. He also expresses his hope that the Biological Science Load Project would be completed smoothly as guided and led by the experts.

Commander-in-Chief Qiu Jiawen of space science and deep space exploration of the China Academy of Space Technology presides over the independent evaluation and review meeting of the Biological Science Load Project held in the after noon. At the meeting, Designer Zhang Yuanxun, director of the Biological Science Load Project, delivers 6 reports respectively on science load design, mechanical analysis, heat balance test and etc. The review panel reviews the key issues, technical indexes and material preparation one by one in details, and provides special consultancy services for the independent evaluation of the Biological Science Load Project.

During the period of the review meeting, the Organization Department and Advanced Technology Research Institute jointly hold the Seminar on Training of Middle-level Cadres in the Minzhuhu Lecture Hall of Chongqing University on January 8. At the Seminar, Academician Wu delivers a keynote science report titled “development and prospect of aerospace of China”.

More than 400 persons, including the middle-level cadres of the University, professor representatives in the national defense area and some student representatives are present at the Seminar.
