The 2021 “Standard Technology Innovation Award” Presentation Ceremony was held in Jinan, Shandong. Professor Zhou Xuhong from the School of Civil Engineering, Chongqing University, an academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, was given the honorable title of Standard Master.

Zhou Xuhong has been devoted to the teaching and scientific research of steel structure and steel-concrete hybrid structure for a long time, and has made considerable contributions to preparation of professional technical standards and standardization of project construction with his research findings and efforts in development of new technologies.

The “Standard Technology Innovation Award” launched by China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization with approval of National Office for Science and Technology Awards of the Ministry of Science and Technology is the first exclusive award in the field of standardization of project construction in China selected by China Association for Engineering Construction Standardization. It is given to standardization workers with outstanding contributions in a bid to promote the spirit of the construction industry.
