On March 4, the digital exhibition applets, "Morality Education" Online Exhibition and Archive Center Collection, of Chongqing University were released. In the future, citizens in Chongqing may view the files of the Archive Center of Chongqing University using the applets.
It is reported that in recent years, the Archive Center of Chongqing University has been making substantial efforts on collection of archival historical materials. It has collected more than 10,000 precious real objects by carrying out oral interview that focuses on "disciplinary construction". In the past nearly 10 years, a total of 140 elderly professors and experts and 40 outstanding alumni were interviewed. It has gathered a large number of audio and video data of character interviews, and established a resource database of special characters of "teachers' ethics and style of study" and "university spirit and style of study" of Chongqing University.

"It took the Archive Center of Chongqing University many years to develop from the physical archive center to digital applet." According to Yang Yan, Head of the Archive Center of Chongqing University, to spread the stories of Chongqing University, promote the ethics spirit of its teacher, and give play to the "silently moistening" role of an archive center. In 2016, the Archive Center established the "Morality Education" Exhibition Gallery of Chongqing University about the touching stories of extraordinary people. Exhibition carriers include precious archival historical materials, real objects and pictures, precise words and vivid video and audio content, and the exhibition forms include display boards, multi-media interaction and sand painting. In 2019, to break the temporal and spatial restrictions of the exhibition gallery, the Archive Center established the “Morality Education” Online Exhibition Gallery of Chongqing University with more diversified content and vivid webpage creativity to spread the ethics spirit of CQU teachers in a broader range. In 2020, to expand the intuitive and vivid educating and influencing role of the physical exhibition gallery, the Archive Center selected some real objects from its collection, and developed a creative WeChat applet that exhibits real objects about the rigorous scholarship of Chongqing University.
It is reported that Chongqing University released the two applets to provide one-stop full-process online service that allows the users to obtain the archival materials without going out, and helps people to understand the history of Chongqing University in an easier way. "I believe now that it is much easier to obtain the archival materials and people will be more willing to get an understanding of the history of Chongqing University, experience the humanistic spirit of the University, and practice the socialist core value in real life."
