CQU Cancer Hospital's Zou Dongling given 2021 Young Scientist Award of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association

Chinese Anti-Cancer Association released the Decision on Commending Winners of Scientific and Technological Awards of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association in 2021 on April 19. Zou Dongling, Director of the Gynecological Oncology Center of Chongqing University Cancer Hospital, was given the 2021 Young Scientist Award of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association.

Zou Dongling is currently serving as Director of the Gynecological Oncology Center of Chongqing University Cancer Hospital, and is a top-end reserve talent in medicine of Chongqing Municipal Health Commission, a visiting scholar of the City of Hope National Medical Center and a visiting scholar of Cancer Research Institute of University of Cincinnati. Zou is also a standing member of the Specialized Committee on Gynecological Oncology of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, Managing Director of the Youth Council of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, a standing member of the Specialized Committee on Neoplastic Secretion of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and Vice Chairman of the Youth Committee of Gynaecology and Obstetrics Branch of China International Exchange and Promotive Association for Medical and Health Care.

It is reported that the Young Scientist Award of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association was established in 2016 and is given to young scientific and technological talents that have made outstanding achievements in innovation of medical treatment, scientific research and teaching related to cancer. The purpose is to encourage young scientists at the front line of world cancer science and technology field to play a leading role, and boost the development of China's cancer related disciplines. The selection is held once a year and the award is given to no more than 10 scientists each year.
