Volunteer service activity by CQU's local and foreign students on the theme of Children's Day

On the morning of May 27, as the 2023 International Children's Day approaches, organized by the International Student Volunteers Association and the International Student Union of Chongqing University, more than 20 local students and foreign students from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Pakistan, Rwanda and other countries went to the Qizhi Children Rehabilitation Center in Bishan District, accompanying the children to spend a happy and unforgettable time.

Volunteers sang nursery rhymes of their own countries for the children and the children were soon infected by the lively songs, singing along with the volunteers. They also formed a circle to play games with the children. After the games, they took out the prepared drawing paper and pens and then the children gave full play to their imagination and described their wonderful thinking by drawing on the paper.

These children also performed the newly learned dance to express their gratitude to the volunteers.

After the activity, Luo Hua from Rwanda said, "I always thought that we showed care and love by participating in this activity, but in fact, we also felt the happiness brought by the children in the activity, and now I can better understand the significance of helping others. All the volunteers said that they will devote themselves to volunteer service with more enthusiasm and continue to convey love and warmth.
