Recently, Xinhuanet, People's Daily, China.org.cn, China News Service-Guangdong and many other media reported the awarding ceremony of Wu Jiapei Grants Program which was held at the Fifth Meeting of the Eighth Council of China Information Economics Society convened in Guangzhou and gathered numerous experts and scholars from renowned universities. Six young and middle-aged professors represented by Professor Huang He from the School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University were awarded the "Wu Jiapei Grants Program" in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

"Wu Jiapei Grants Program" was initiated by Professor Wu Jiapei, the founder and famous economist of Chinese quantitative economics and information economics. Established in 2015, "Wu Jiapei Grants Program" aims to inherit and carry forward the spirit of the older generation of China information economy and information management scholars, represented by Wujiapei, to pursue academics and explore truth, to promote the innovative exploration of economic and management theories by young and middle-aged scholars in China, and to cultivate the capabilities and innovative groups of digital economy and digital management in China.

At this meeting, academic forum was also organized. Professor Huang He from Chongqing University gave a special award-winning report entitled "Mechanism Design and Information Management" at the awarding ceremony. Professor Ye Qiang from University of Science and Technology of China, Professor Li Sanxi from Renmin University of China, Professor Dou Yifan from Fudan University, Professor Rong Ke from Tsinghua University and Assistant Professor Liu Shuo from Peking University also delivered keynote speeches; At the same time, representatives from enterprises such as China Southern Power Grid, CSCC, WeCom and Shadowbot were invited to share practical cases of digital transformation and innovation, so that Industry-University-Research can be deeply integrated, realizing the receipt according to needs.
