On December 15, China Best Employer Annual Award Ceremony 2023 & International Management Forum of Human Capital were held in Chengdu, Sichuan Province with the theme of "New Momentum and New Workplace." CQU joined other 20 universities such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, and Sichuan University in winning the "Role Model in Employment Promotion" at China Best University Award 2023.

This selection, participated, organized and judged by a number of professional organizations, including the Institute of Social Science Survey, Peking University, National School of Development, Peking University and zhaopin.com, ended up with four awards, namely, the Best University Employment Model Award, the Employment Excellence Award, the Employment Innovation Award and the Employment Popularity Award for the year of 2023. The award-winning universities have been recognized by the industry for their practical achievements in discipline setting, talent development, industry-academia-research integration, and graduate recruitment.

To contribute to the national strategies, CQU has done a great deal of work as follows. First, CQU has always upheld the original intention and mission of "educating men of talents for the Party and the country's great causes," and has placed the employment of graduates as the top priority of CQU's endeavors. Second, CQU has fully implemented the decision-making and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on the employment and entrepreneurship work of university graduates, and has put into practice the "top leader-headed project on employment." Third, CQU has vigorously carried out the Ministry of Education-led action to promote the employment and entrepreneurship of university graduates of class 2024, made every effort to stimulate high-quality and adequate employment of graduates, thoroughly executed the specialized campaign of "Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Employment," and energetically pushed forward the "Visiting of Ten Thousand Enterprises to Campuses" program. Fourth, CQU has actively submitted application for the supply and demand matching employment education project, broadened the "circle of friends" for cooperation between the government organs, universities and enterprises, structured a "big picture" for the delivery of talents to key sectors, and continuously guided the graduates to build their careers in areas where the motherland needs them the most.
