In March 2019, the “Love House for Mommies” built up by the Labor Union Branch of Government Department was accepted at the 7^th Session of the 1^st Congress (Enlarged) of Labor Unions for Science, Education, Culture, Health and Sports of Chongqing, and was approved as the demonstration site of “Love House for Mommies” of Chongqing.

In recent years, the Labor Union Branch of Government Departments has been “serving development of schools and growth of employees”, and taking “five-one” activities as the carrier in an effort to increase happiness index of employees. The “Love House for Mommies” is a welfare project for working women created by CPC committees and labor union branches of the government departments, and is an important part of the “caring the female employee” campaign as initiated by the Labor Union Branch. In 2017, the Labor Union Branch actively responded to the “Love House for Mommies” Promotion Plan for Female Employees of Chongqing Municipal Federation of Trade Unions. Having overcome the difficulties such as space limitation, the Labor Union Branch has successfully built up the “Love House for Mommies” located at the Administrative Building, Campus A based on the special needs of female employees during the menstrual period, with the actual conditions and local resources taken into consideration. The purpose is to provide a private, healthy, clean, comfortable and safe space for female employees in the pregnancy period and lactation period to rest and communicate. At the same time, based on the actual conditions of the government departments, the Love House is provided with a reception room and a psychological counseling room. It provides a relaxing and comforting environment for teachers and staff with emotional disturbance, and is able to provide caring services for teaching and administrative staff of the government departments, so that they will be able to work at ease and live with joy.

The International Working Women's Day is around the corner. It is of great honor for the Labor Union Branch to become one of the demonstration sites for “Love House for Mommies” of Chongqing of 2019. The Labor Union Branch will continue to run the “Love House for Mommies” in a down-to-earth and satisfactory manner based on the actual working conditions, and will continue to provide services for female employees. In addition, they are going to acquire more facilities and equipment, and increase utilization rate of the “Love House for Mommies”, so as to make female employees feel like they are with “her natal family”.
