British ambassador to China, Caroline Wilson, visits CQU

On the morning of November 27, 2020, Ms. Caroline Wilson, British ambassador to China, Stephen Ellison, Consul General of the British Consulate General in Chongqing, Chen Bing, regional director of the Culture and Education Department of the British Consulate General in Chongqing, and Gao Zhulin, senior trade and investment officer of the British Consulate General, visited Chongqing University. President Zhang Zongyi had a cordial meeting with Caroline Wilson, and the two sides had an exchange and discussion on the possible cooperation with respect to the West China Science City and the joint training program between Chongqing University and British universities. Vice President Ming Ju also attended the event.



After the talks, Ambassador Caroline Wilson had an exchange and discussion with the teachers and students of Chongqing University.



Li Mingquan, director of the European and African Section of the Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government, and Zhang Can, a four-level researcher of the European and African Section, were among the companions. Yao Shujie, deputy director of the Faculty of Social Science of Chongqing University, Lin Mingjin, dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xie Hui, vice dean of the School of Architectural and Urban Planning, and Xu Jun, director of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange, attended the event.
